1Malaysia Pad, unknowned quality local brand tablet introduced quite pricey tablet compared to another local brand such as CSL. I’m not anti local brand, but the marketing strategy for 1Malaysia Pad is not so wise.
Sell at price RM999, the technical specification about 1Malaysia Pad still blur, but here I revealed that you can buy branded gadget, Samsung Galaxy Tab RM100 more cheaper than 1Malaysia Pad at Lazada site.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7 inch screen, have clear specs, comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (latest OS),1024×600 screen, 16GB Internal Memory, microSD expansion up to 32GB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and 1GHz Dual Core processor and 1GB RAM. This tablet is Wi-Fi only.
1Malaysia Pad just give general info about their tablet, 7 inch screen (no resolution), Android OS (without version), 3MP camera, 1Malaysia Messenger and 1Malaysia Club (don’t know who going to use this software). The best part is the price RM999 limited to first 999 units order only. After that, maybe the price will be increased (kot?).
Maybe MalTechPro company should think back about their tablet price. I checked CSL tablet price is around RM600-RM700++ (maybe cheaper than that). What I know is the CSL using OEM tablet from China and put their brand into it. 1Malaysia Pad seems to be using the same way too. Oh Malaysia.
It's so expensive because, this Datuk wants a bit, that Datuk wants a bit, this Datuk don't wanna lose also wants a bit, so bought in China for only RM99 had to sell it here for RM999 coz each of the Datuk wants 300 for each sale.
