Around 1 year ago a chipsets maker from China AllWinner Technologies released their flagship chipset for mainstream tablets called A1X. This low-cost highly-integrated chipset consisted of Armv7 Cortex Core clocked by default at 1.2ghz and Mali400 GPU core along with APU/Smart PMU/VPU/DPU. It has the ability to decode 3D FullHD 2160p movies in hardware, Run 3D Games like Asphalt 6 and run Android 2.3.4 and Android 4.0.3 OS smoothly. Also it had HDMI Dual Display which made it possible to connect the tablet to a big screen by HDMI without turning off the tablet’s screen. Especially useful for games and presentations. It’s very low cost led to a lot of great tablets, Even tablets for sub-$100 price range with features like Capacitive Multi-touch screen, HDMI, WiFi, USB 3G, Android 4.0.3, Camera, Microphone, G-Sensors, MicroSD HC Up to 32GB and much more.
Now they have announced one more addition to their low-priced yet powerful CPUs, The A13.
It has the following advantages over the A10 model:
